Child & Youth Mentoring Overview:

Childhood development is of the utmost importance as it is during these years that build the foundation for future learning, health, and life success. This is why we emphasize ensuring all children have a non-parent mentor in their lives. By creating a safe environment where children can talk, learn, and play, we can further stimulate positive growth and development. Studies have shown that children who collaborate in targeted group learning often end up becoming better decision-makers over time. Our mentoring services are designed to take the mentor and mentee relationship into a group setting to yield better results. More specifically, we are then able to create specialized mentor groups to provide children from all walks of life the chance to interact and learn from one another. We have found that ongoing friendships are created from these groups.
