Classroom Assessments Overview:
We have the ability to sit in on your child’s classroom and complete an assessment, this will allow us to utilize the best services within Quest4Change for your child. During this assessment, we will be watching what your child does socially, emotionally, and intellectually, within their environment and with their classmates. From this, we will work with the school team to make the best possible outcomes for your child while they are at school.
Assessments can play a critical and positive role in supporting successful learning. Furthermore, it places the emphasis on where the child is struggling while also seeing their strengths. When we have this critical information it allows a plan of action to take place with all professionals involved in your child’s life.
Once an assessment is completed it helps facilitate the focus on the student’s individual learning and provides the direction that the teacher, education assistant, and early childhood educator should be focusing on. Additionally, it overall improves goals and objectives for the child that is being supported.
