Program Development Overview:

We at Quest4Change have the ability to come and develop programing for professional organizations/groups that work with children and youth who have behavioural issues, executive functioning delay, sensory processing disorder, autism, fetal alcohol syndrome, and or are non-verbal. We are able to teach you how to make task boxes, how to modify the Ontario curriculum, how to make learning centers (literacy and math), visual schedules, how to develop and use Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and more.

In a school setting, we specialize in ensuring the needs of each individual student are met well taking into consideration the class as a whole. Upon developing new programming, we leave school teachers with the essential resources required for any student with a learning disability. The resources help teachers know how to implement, model, and manage any changes to their specific program.

Service Outcomes:

  • Provide professionals with a complete PECS binder and then teach how to implement it.

  • Help ensure a smooth transition between old and new programming.

  • Provide professionals with customized task boxes to meet the needs of your individual classroom or student.

  • Gain access to additional resources and materials via links and files.

  • Teach any new techniques given to staff to manage a student’s communication and behavioural needs.

  • Involve all staff members that work with the student(s) to ensure the cohesiveness of the school team.
